SocialHP gives you the ability to pull a feed for a Google keyword or phrase. This allows you to creatively add content to your library, beyond content sources you pull through your corporate and social pages, and other RSS feeds.

Step 1

Go go your Content page and click on +Feed

Step 2

Once in your Feed list, click on +New Feed

Step 3

Select Keyword Search from the list of feed options

Step 4

Type a keyword or phrase in the Keyword field. You can select an Approval Process (since you do not know what this search will pull, it is recommended to select "Review Articles Before My Team Can See It". You can also tag a group(s) as appropriate, or leave blank if thecontent is relevant for the entire workspace. Once you've set up the search, click on Save Feed.

Step 5

The next step is to Create a Google alert. Open a browser and type in Google alert. Type the keyword or phrase that you are looking to create a feed for and click on "Create Alert".

Step 6

Once you've created the alert, click on the pencil icon to edit the alert.

Step 7

Select RSS feed in "Deliver to" and then click on Update alert.

Step 8

Click on the RSS feed icon.

Step 9

Copy the URL in the browser

Step 10

Edit the feed in your Feedlist for the Google Keyword search you created

Step 11

Insert the URL from the Google alert into the URL field and click Save

That's it! You have now created a Google keyword search feed. You will see content flowing into the appropriate page you have set this feed for.
