In many cases our analytics reporting relies on 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, and Instagram).

In those cases, we are limited to the types of engagement statistics we can report on based on what those specific platforms offer via their respective APIs.

Listed below are the types of engagement reporting supported by each platform.

Find out why we don't support any Facebook personal statistics by reading the full article.

API Engagement Support

Note for LinkedIn engagement:

  • Clicks: we capture all clicks on the original post and reshares of the original post, as long as the connection clicks through to the target link
  • Likes: Only on the original post, LinkedIn does not provide access to likes on reshares
  • Comments: Only on the original post, LinkedIn does not provide access to comments on reshares
  • Reshares: as per chart in the link above, LinkedIn's API does not allow us to capture reshare data, however, we still capture all clicks on it, even when reshared
* Instagram business pages must be connected in your settings the same way that other accounts are connected. Posts shared via the Instagram sharing feature in the mobile app (which opens the Instagram app) should be regarded as "Instagram Personal" in the above table.
